| Answer | No. Since osmosis started occurring boat building practices have changed dramatically and many modern day GRP boats use resins and products below the waterline that are virtually unaffected by osmosis. However, application of a preventative system is relatively low cost compared to the cost of the vessel and so still makes good economic and peace of mind sense. |
