| Question | What type of Antifouling Paint should I use on Aluminum? |
| |
| Answer | International manufactures an antifouling specifically designed for aluminum after correct priming. Trilux is specifically developed for use on aluminum boats, outdrives and outboards. Trilux, unlike other antifouling paints, does not use cuprous oxide. Trilux uses Cuprous Thiocyanate in its formula, being specifically designed to not harm aluminum. The blend of resins and biocides in Trilux offer excellent antifouling protection, when properly applied over primer. Trilux is available in bright, crisp colours as well as black and white. While Trilux has been specifically developed for use on primed aluminum, it can also be applied to GRP, wood and other underwater metals on boats. Trilux is for use below waterline in fresh, salt and brackish water. |
