Rebuilding a Transom
If your boat has a problem with a leaky or rotted transom, you can rebuild it at home without special tools or a huge building. The major part of the job is removing the old wood and cutting new plywood or foam to fit. This is not nearly so difficult as it sounds (provided you don’t mind getting covered with fiberglass).
