In 2011 AkzoNobel completed a plan to phase out the Sikkens Yachtpaints brand and all associated products, allowing for consolidation of resources under the International Paint yacht paint brand. This consolidation will enable the Business to maintain a compliant product offer without compromising customers’ needs or quality expectations; to free up vital resource to develop and deliver innovative new product solutions and to focus efforts towards improving the environmental profile of its product portfolio.
